Cast

Stephen Lovatt (Tony)
Stephen is in constant demand in film, television and theatre. He currently plays mild-mannered Max Hoyland on the long running Australian series "Neighbours". Past roles have included supporting parts in the feature films "Topless Women Talk About Their Lives" and "Savage Honeymoon". His television drama work includes "Fearless", directed by Roger Donaldson, Australia's "Medivac", Canada's "Mysterious Island", and New Zealand's "Hercules", "Xena" and "Cleopatra 2525". He has performed a large number of roles on stage, including Brick in "A Cat on A Hot Tin Roof" and Puck in the New Zealand Theatre Company's hit version of "A Midsummer Night's Dream".

Sarah Smuts-Kennedy (Belinda)
Sarah has been acting in films since the age of eleven - when she had her throat cut by John Carradine in "The Scarecrow". During her teens she trained in theatre and has since gone on to work with some of New Zealand's foremost directors: Jane Campion on "An Angel at My Table", Garth Maxwell on "Jack Be Nimble", and Leon Narbey in "The Footstep Man". She has also performed in a number of television dramas including the award-winning "Overnight". For her role as Nora in "Jack Be Nimble" she won Best Actress Award at the 1995 Oporto International Film Festival.

Peta Rutter (Suzanne)
Peta has an experimental theatre company which she runs and in acts in with partner, Carl Bland. Peta has also performed extensively in theatre in both Australia and New Zealand. Her film credits include "The Footstep Man", while her television productions include "Street Legal", "Young Hercules" and "Xena".
 

Beryl Te Wiata (Violet)
Beryl is part of a hugely talented family - husband Inia Te Wiata was an internationally renowned opera singer and daughter Rima is constantly working as an actor and comedienne in both Australia and New Zealand. Beryl is one of the grand dames of theatre and television. She has numerous film, television and theatre credits.

Supporting cast include Peter Elliott from the upcoming Geoff Murphy film "Spooked", Stelios Yiakmis, Bruce Hopkins, Tandi Wright and Alan de Malmanche, all of whom have extensive television and theatre work. The new-comer is Ismay Johnson.
